Childersburg woman killed, three injured in crash

(WDNG) – Authorities say three people were injured and one woman killed on Tuesday after a crash in Talladega County. Janet Daffer Hall, 26, of Sylacauga was killed when the 2006 Lexus GS300 she was driving collided with a 1998 Chevrolet pickup on Alabama 76 just west of Winterboro, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Trooper Chuck Daniel.

The driver of the pickup, identified as 29-year-old Jeremy Evan Hollis, and his two unidentified passengers were taken to Citizens Hospital in Talladega. Hall was pronounced dead at the scene. Daniel says the fatal crash occurred shortly after noon on Tuesday. Authorities have not said what caused Tuesday’s fatal crash.
