Witness seizure postpones trial of councilman

The trial of Anniston City Councilman Ben Little has been postponed after a witness in the trial suffered an apparent seizure while on the witness stand. The Anniston Star reports prosecutors called all of their witnesses once the trial resumed Tuesday, but Little’s attorney said he will have to wait for former city employee James Fluker to recover and complete his testimony before more witnesses for the defense can be called to the stand. District Judge Mannon Bankson scheduled the trial to resume tomorrow at 9am.
